Professioanal Headlight Restorations
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my headlights yellow or cloudy?+
Headlights oxidize when exposed to UV light. Headlight lenses come with a clear top coat to help prevent this, but eventually, the coating wears off and sunlight turns the hard plastic yellow or cloudy. Not only does this look bad, it severely restricts the light output, making night time driving extremely dangerous.
What are the dangers of driving with oxidized headlights?+
Driving at night with oxidized headlights is extremely dangerous. Most people don't realize how much light is being restricted with oxidized headlights, leading to accidents that could have easily been prevented. Having your headlights restored is a very affordable, instant safety upgrade for any vehicle.
What’s the difference between NorCal Windshield Repair and the competition?+
The reason our restorations last up to 5 years is because we don't just buff and polish until the lights look a little better. Removing the old failing UV coating and re-applying a new coating before curing the entire headlight, is the only way to ensure a beautiful long lasting result.
How do you protect my vehicle during the restoration process?+
We take extra precaution in prepping every vehicle to ensure there is no damage during the process of sanding, buffing, polishing and re-applying the new UV coating to your headlights. Once cured, all tape and masking plastic is removed.
Is there a warranty ?-

Will my lights look different after?-
